Ever since Project Gutenberg was founded back in 1971, the Internet has been a valuable storage device for books and texts turned into digital format and made accessible to everyone. There's a lot of repositories out there holding everything from Charles Dickens to Old Irish epic to 19th-century PhD theses to the possibly non-existent lost Gospel of Q.

This search engine - powered by Google's amazing Custom Search utility - is supposed to make sense of them all. Just type in what you're looking for, and see what comes up.
